Present Tense


Present Tense - verb "to be" (ser/ estar)

Exemplos:

What time is it now? It's one o'clock.

Is London in England? Yes, it is.

Is London in America? No, it isn't.

Where is Chicago? It is in America.

Where is Manchester? It is in England.

Where are you from? I'm from Brazil.

Are you from London? No, i'm not. I'm from Brazil.

Is Janet in London? Yes, she is.

Is Janet in Ney York? No, she isn't.

Where is she now? She is at the airport.

Where is the taxi driver? He is in the car.

Where is he from? He is from London.

Is he in a street in New York? No, he isn't.

Is he on the plane? No, he isn't.
